On the 18th March 2017 I had the great pleasure of photographing the wedding of Lucy & Paul in Northfield and group Photography at Red House Barn. I joined Lucy at her house while she prepared for her wedding day alongside her bridesmaids and family members. Lucy hired the fantastic make-up artist Carol Maye who was busy adding the finishing touches to the beautiful bride and her bridesmaids when I arrived.

Once all of the bridal preparations were complete Lucy left the family home with her entourage and boarded the London Bus which had been hired especially for this lovely occasion and was waiting outside of the house ready to take them to the wedding service.
The couple had chosen St Brigits Rc Church as this has been Lucy’s family church for many years and also where her parents been married 30 years ago.
The church is a gorgeous building with beautiful exterior and a very traditional atmosphere.

Awaiting her at the church, was her handsome groom Paul, dressed in his modern blue suit standing alongside his groomsmen also dressed in blue. He waiting patiently for her and was quite relieved when (eventually) she walked down the aisle in her pretty white dress. Lucy joined her groom Paul ready to become one.

Once the ceremony was completed, all guests, both family and friends boarded the London Bus to journey to the reception. The couple had booked Red House Barn as their venue.

Before heading inside, guests and the newly wedded couple mingled outside in the Brans pretty grounds whilst having a few group photographs taken and enjoying reception drinks and canapes. Everyone was enjoying the dry and sunny weather.

The inside of venue was decorated very elegantly with fairy lights and white pompoms adorning the ceiling. Tables were covered in candle lights giving the barn atmosphere and an intimate feel. Everyone entered complimenting the beautiful theme the couple had put together. After an hour of mingling and chit chat, everyone gathered together to enjoy the meal which was followed by the traditional cake cutting. The cake was a traditional white cake on one side with side elements of comic hero on the other side making for a very unusual and fun themed cake.

After the cake cutting, the couple had their first dance which was followed by loads of fun and partying. Guests joined the couple on the dancefloor ready to dance till the early hours of the morning.

Congratulations to the lovely Lucy & Paul and well done for putting together such a fab, fun and fantastic wedding which everyone enjoyed xx
