On the 20th May I joined Ruth and Scott at the Gorcott Hall as their wedding photographer.
Gorcott Hall’s 19th century barn provides a beautiful setting for your wedding breakfast and evening party. With a vaulted ceiling, wonderful exposed brickwork and impressive oak beams it is a very versatile space.

The couple were already on the grounds of Gorcott with the bride in the stable house which had been transformed into a luxury bedroom where the bride did all her bridal preparations with her bridesmaids dressed in blue matching with the ushers and groom and the two flower girls wore white.
Ruth walked down the aisle in her beautiful white dress alongside her dad ready to get married to her handsome groom Scott. The civil ceremony was short but sweet with a reading from Ruths friend Sam and once the ceremony was complete the newly wedded couple and all of the guests went outside to the beautiful, splendid courtyards to begin the wedding reception take some photographs. The couple took a stroll around the secret gardens with wisteria vines and rustic steps for their private couple photoshoot. The guests were chatting and children were enjoying themselves as drinks and canapes were served while they enjoyed the day.
The barn where the civil ceremony had been held was changed around for the reception and was beautifully decorated giving it a charming, rustic atmosphere. It had pompoms and woodland decorations hanging from the exposed beams above, dimmed lighting giving a gentle ambiance and in the corner, was the stunning wedding cake. Scott and Ruth opted for a Naked Cake which was very lightly decorated with a few lily’s decorating the base.
As guests sat down they were served a spectacular three course meal which everyone enjoyed. As everyone finished enjoying their meal the family and friends made touching and hilarious speeches following whichnewly wedding couple went onto the dance floor to have their first dance. Guests gathered around them on the illuminated floor to cheer them on.
