I've spent more than fifteen years in the wonderful world of social and commercial photography, and I still get a thrill from it every single time. If you've browsed my pictures, I hope you can see the joy I take in photographing people — that's always been the heart of it for me.
For over a decade I worked from my own studio in Selly Park. A few years ago I made a decision that changed how I work: I left the studio behind to go fully location-only — meeting people where their stories actually happen, whether that's a wedding venue, a conference hall or a business premises. Today I'm based in Harborne, in South Birmingham, and I'll happily travel around Birmingham, the West Midlands and just about anywhere.
Whatever the occasion and wherever we are, I bring the same thing to every shoot: expertise, professionalism and a real passion for getting it right. Or, as I tend to tell people when they first get in touch — I work quickly, efficiently, and with a smile.
How I work
I've spent years learning how to bring out the best in people in front of a camera — how to organise a group, keep everyone at ease and take the lead when the moment calls for it. Once things settle, I step back and let real life happen. Whatever the event, that mix of direction and instinct is what makes it feel effortless. You're in experienced hands, and the photographs speak for themselves.
